I recorded a couple of solos through the direct out using the impulse responses of my new HOOK Wizard amp and I love the sound and feel of it.
Maybe it’s the real tubes driving the IR’s or maybe it’s the fact that designer Leendert Haaksma IR’d these cabs himself in Wisseloord studios. But it feels and responds really great. For this track I’m using the 4 x 12 HOOK IR. More Wizard recordings coming up soon – http://hookamps.com/wizard/
