Today, we’re putting the MESA/Boogie® Mark IIC+ to the test with a Gibson 70s Explorer in D Standard tuning, no talking, just straight-up playing.
The tones are dialed in and captured using a Royer R-121 ribbon microphone and a Shure SM57 dynamic microphone, carefully positioned to bring out the sound of the Celestion C90 speakers in the cabinet.
