Simple yet very effective and enjoyable fretboard game. Connecting all the octaves and places will help you jump around the fretboard lated on. I believe this can be useful for just about any level of guitar players. The more better you become, the more complex you can go. The key is anyways to start slow and easy. And visualisation. Once you start playing with this, you start to see how things connect.
The wonderful iPad app in the beginnig is called GeoShred. I recommend it to all guitarists, try it out! Here’s a video of Jordan Rudess going in depth with it:
