This month, Andy Timmons picks up where we left off in the previous column, covering his solo on the track “Welcome Home,” which he recorded for the 2016 Andy Timmons Band album Theme from a Perfect World. As Andy explained, the solo is played over a repeating four-bar chord progression that moves between E5, C and A5 chords.
