“Hey, Paul Stanley here, and let’s talk about Jason Becker.

He inspired many of you. I know that. As a guitar player, his fire was catchy. People who heard him wanted to play like him or were just in awe of him.

I will say, what inspired me about Jason is his courage. His strength. His determination to fight against all odds. Here he is, 30 years later, doing the impossible. And for that, that’s an inspiration to me.

So, to help out… and I think all of us should be helping him out in any way we can… I will donate this guitar. It’s one of my Ibanez guitars. One of my PS. And I will sign it to whoever buys it, and I will personalize it.

So, let’s just think in terms of… you’re certainly not doing it for me… and I don’t think you’re doing it for *you*. We’re all doing it for Jason. Pony up.”
